As a pioneer in the tax-aware investment industry, Founder Hoon Kim holds a PhD in accounting and has managed equity portfolios at the world’s largest asset managers for 20+ years.
Hoon has spent his career innovating at the intersection of tax, portfolio management, and equity research. Prior to founding Quantinno, he served as the Head of Portfolio Construction and Implementation as a Principal in AQR’s Global Stock Selection Group managing hundreds of institutional equity accounts and hedge fund strategies. He also served as a senior member of the GSS research team. He began his career as the Head of Quantitative Equity Research at Mellon Capital.
Hoon received a Ph.D. in Accounting and MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA from Yonsei University.
Todd’s career has spanned portfolio management at some of the world’s largest asset managers to leadership roles in operations at hedge funds and fintech firms. Prior to joining Quantinno at its inception, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Fingage, Chief Operating Officer at hedge fund firms Bayswater and Kevian, and as a portfolio manager at Franklin Templeton and Mellon Capital.
Todd received an MS from UC Irvine and a BS from California Polytechnic.
Paul’s career has been centered around leading engineering teams at some of the world’s largest quantitative investment managers. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in the Quantitative Investment Strategies Group and was a Managing Director at AQR in the Global Stock Selection and Global Macro Technology Teams.
Paul received an MBA from New York University and a BS from Columbia University.
Albert has a depth of experience combining quantitative tools and data science to seek continuous improvement in investment results. Prior to joining Quantinno at its inception, he was a senior quant at the hedge fund Coatue, data scientist at the technology firm Kinnek, and a member of the Global Stock Selection research team at AQR.
Albert received a BS from University of Pennsylvania.
Sinan’s career has focused on developing innovative technology solutions for firms ranging from leading quantitative and multi-strategy asset managers to fast-growing fintech startups. Prior to joining Quantinno, he was a senior software engineer at Citadel, quant development lead for Global Stock Selection at AQR, and software developer at InvestCloud and Conifer Financial Services.
Sinan received a BS from UC Berkeley.
Charles’s career has been focused on driving excellence across all facets of portfolio implementation. His expertise spans the management of hundreds of equity accounts to the development of sophisticated, systematic, and highly automated investment processes. Prior to joining Quantinno, he was an Executive Director at AQR in the Portfolio Implementation team, and a financial engineer at Societe Generale.
Charles received a MS from Columbia University and BS/MS from Ecole centrale de Nantes.
Glenn’s experience has ranged from providing financial advice to clients firsthand, to business development roles across numerous client segments in asset management. Glenn began his career in Merrill Lynch’s Global Private Client Group, was a research analyst at KSM Capital Advisors, and served as a member of AQR’s business development team.
Glenn received an MBA from University of Notre Dame and a BS from Butler University.
Eric has spent his career in client-facing roles. Most recently he worked on the Business Development team at AQR, focusing on RIAs and Family Offices. He spent the beginning of his career at Bloomberg.
Eric received a BS from Cornell University.
Colton has built his career at the intersection of quantitative finance and research. Prior to joining Quantinno, he worked on systematic investment strategies at Bank of America. Previously, he spent two years in research at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, focused on macroeconomics and finance.
Colton received an MS from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS from California Polytechnic.
Ade has built his career around maintaining accurate accounting information in the asset management industry. Prior to joining Quantinno, he was a Senior Associate at Sound Point Capital Management in New York, focusing on expense allocations, financial reporting, and vendor relationship management. Before this, Ade served as a Staff Accountant at LS Power Development, LLC, where he managed operations, journal entries, treasury reports, and cross-functional collaborations on key initiatives. He began his career as an AP Accountant at Russell Reid/MR. John Co., overseeing payment schedules, bank transactions, and client communications.
Ade holds an MBA from Rutgers Business School and a BS from Montclair State University.
Michelle brings to Quantinno financial services experience in alternative investments. She began her career in private equity investing at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

William has spent his career working with Ultra High Net Worth clients. Prior to joining Quantinno, he was in Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management Rotational Analyst program focused on Family Offices, Data Analytics Strategy, and Portfolio Management.
William received a BS from Binghamton University.
